Tasting Notes: This is not wine, it's a Piquette: Pomace leftover from winemaking (Chardonnay and Pinot Noir) was infused in water and then fermented in the bottle. Due to the low sugar content in the pomace, some was added for a fermentation to happen. It's refreshing and low in alcohol.
Imagine a hybrid of Kombucha and Wine: Shows Aromas of raspberries, cranberries and grapefruit, as well as some green pepper notes in the background. The attack on the palate is fresh and light-bodied, with a high acidity that carries through to the end, where it is joined by a salty minerality and slight bitterness.
