Tasting Notes: What a rosé! Made from Zweigelt with only a short maceration period, but then matured on the lees for over 2 years in large old wooden barrels. Very light pink with golden shimmer, without any kitsch on the nose, very grounded: Baked apple with herbaceous spice, plus some sour cherries and wet oak, also pine needles, bread crust with sesame or a trace of flint. On the palate a very adult appearance, with a smooth texture, tart tannin and fine acidity, only slightly primary fruity after wild strawberries, minimal citrus touch, remains very pleasant and lasting on the tongue.
