La Bouchaude

Jura, France

Domaine La Bouchaude is the young Jura estate of Anne Petitot, based in Bersaillin in the Côtes du Jura. She launched the domaine in 2020 after gaining experience in Chile and at respected estates including the Tissots, Julien Pineau, and Domaine de Ratapoil. The estate began with just 80 ares and has since grown to around 2.3 hectares, all farmed organically with a strong focus on sustainable viticulture. Her wines aim to express Jura terroir clearly, with a style that balances authenticity and precision. The range includes both whites and reds, often built from classic Jura grapes such as Savagnin, Chardonnay, Trousseau, Pinot Noir, and Poulsard. In the cellar, the wines tend to be natural and characterful, but not excessive, showing freshness, texture, and a distinctly regional identity. La Bouchaude feels modern in approach yet firmly rooted in Jura tradition.
