Amélie Vuillet & Sébastien Jacques

Jura, France

Amélie Vuillet & Sébastien Jacques are among the most exciting natural wine producers in the Jura, making wines that feel handmade, vibrant, and deeply connected to place. Based in Molamboz, near Arbois, they farm tiny parcels spread across roughly one to one and a half hectares, with Chardonnay, Savagnin, Poulsard, Pinot Noir, Gamay, and Trousseau among the grapes they work with. Their background is rooted in learning from important Jura names such as Brignot, Bornard, Overnoy, and Tissot. In the vineyards, they work with great respect for biodiversity, using horse power and minimal treatments. In the cellar, they avoid pumps, temperature control, filtration, and additions, aiming for pure, lively wines with texture, freshness, and strong sense of origin. Their cuvées are often energetic, expressive, and quietly original, reflecting both Jura tradition and a very personal, artisanal approach.
