Clément Klur is a biodynamic winemaker based in Katzenthal, in the heart of Alsace. Having taken over his family domaine in 2000, Klur transformed the estate from conventional viticulture into one of the region's most thoughtful and committed natural producers.
Klur farms around 5 hectares of vines, working the land with deep respect for terroir and biodiversity. His approach is guided by biodynamic principles: minimal intervention in both vineyard and cellar, native yeasts, and no fining or filtration. The results are wines of genuine character and precision: Rieslings with electric tension, Pinot Gris of great textural depth, and Gewurztraminers that balance opulence with freshness.
Beyond winemaking, Klur is a passionate advocate for sustainable tourism and hosts visitors at his estate. He believes wine is inseparable from culture, landscape and community, values that come through clearly in every bottle.
