Domaine Dard et Ribo is a benchmark estate of the northern Rhône, founded in the late 1980s by René-Jean Dard and François Ribo. Based in Mercurol, the domaine farms old-vine Syrah across Crozes-Hermitage and Saint-Joseph, with a deep commitment to organic viticulture and minimal intervention in the cellar.

Vineyards are worked without synthetic chemicals, and yields are kept low to preserve freshness and expression of place. In the cellar, fermentations are carried out with native yeasts, sulfur use is minimal, and élevage is done with restraint, allowing the wines to develop naturally.

The wines of Dard et Ribo are known for their purity, savory character, and balance — expressive of granite and clay-limestone soils rather than extraction or power. They are among the most respected and sought-after natural wines of the Rhône Valley.
