Tasting Notes: Rich garnet red; on the nose complex notes of sour cherries, raspberries and red plums, as well as slight hints of blackberries, cassis, mint and mineral spice; on the palate velvety soft, lively and flavors of plum, cocoa and vanilla, the wood tones are noticeable but very well balanced; elegant, fruity, and mineral finish. For the Haalde, the grapes are fermented together with the stalk. The grapes in question come from 35-year-old vines. - The Haalde is therefore a wine for Pinot fanatics!
