Domaine Piccard: A Legacy of Excellence in Lavaux

Domaine Piccard, located in the UNESCO World Heritage site of Lavaux in the canton of Vaud, Switzerland, is a family-run winery that has been cultivating its terraced vineyards for four generations. Overlooking the Lake Geneva basin, the estate offers breathtaking panoramic views and produces wines that reflect the vibrant, timeless nature of the region.

A Commitment to Biodynamics
Under the stewardship of Jean-Christophe Piccard, Domaine Piccard practices organic and biodynamic viticulture. For over a decade, their vineyards have been free of herbicides, insecticides, and mineral fertilizers, fostering a rich biodiversity. This sustainable approach ensures that each grape variety thrives in harmony with its environment, producing wines that are true to their terroir.

Diverse Grape Varieties
The vineyard extends over a little more than 2 hectares and grows a variety of grapes. Traditional Chasselas retains a place of honor, complemented by Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, and Marsanne for whites. Red varieties include Pinot Noir, Gamay, Plant-Robert, Gamaret, Garanoir, Syrah, and Merlot. Each variety is planted according to the specific nature of the soil, ensuring optimal growth and expression.
