6 Manca del Rosso - Le Quattro Volte - 2020
Manca del Rosso is made from 100% Magliocco grapes that are hand-harvested, double sorted, de-stemmed and then gently pressed. The free run juice goes into concrete vats, where it stays for 6 months. In the meantime, the lees sink to the bottom of the tank, leaving it quite clear when it is bottled. This dark rosé has no added sulphites. Clear with a translucent and cherry-red color in the glass. It smells of wild flowers, grapefruit, and amarena cherries, with a bit of smoke and Mediterranean brush in the background. On the palate it is super juicy, slightly salty and has a lovely zesty acidity.
