More mineral, richer and earthier than most Blanc de Blancs. Shows great terroir typicity. It's racy, refined, with notes of white flowers, dried fruits, apples and pears. Intense, with fine bubbles, vinous and fresh.

9 Combarnier - Alexandre Jouveaux - 2016

Needs time to breathe as it is quite reductive, then it shows notes of citrus, apricot, cut grass, petrichor and a touch of butter. On the palate it is full of energy, with a zingy acidity and strong minerality, balanced out by a light creaminess.

8 Karmin N. 8 - Franz Strohmeier - 2017

Notes of red currants, hibiscus, herbs and minerals. On the palate it's elegant, medium-bodied, with bright fruit, a zippy acidity and a long finish.

7 Cuna - Cuna - 2016

Federico Staderini's "Cuna" is a wine which will surprise all Pinot Noir fans. It shows a luminous and almost transparent ruby red color. The bouquet expresses aromas of violet, small red fruits, hints of underbrush, aromatic herbs and delicate spicy nuances. The taste is smooth, with subtle tannins and a very fresh and persistent finish. The wine ages for 15-18 months in used barriques and is bottled without any filtration.

6 Fuoripista - Foradori - 2019

"Fuoripista" is a wine of great expressiveness, vinified in amphora on skins. Rose gold, with scents of dried fruits, berries and fresh herbs. On the palate it's mineral, with plenty of juiciness and polished tannins.

5 Bloom Runner - Oxer Wines - 2020

Scents of ripe dark fruits and berries, as well as some earthy and herbaceous aromas. On the palate it's elegant and juicy, with plenty of freshness, some very fine tannins and a long finish.

4 Roter Traminer Freyheit - Heinrich - 2019

Fresh, lively, slight tannins, wild rose and fresh stone pine aromas, with a bit of lychee. Demanding on the palate, good complexity, powerful, dry style, with firm, salty finish.

3 Fendant - Domaine de Beudon - 2008

Intense and mature. Notes of butter toffee mingle with aromas of quince, dried mango, hazelnuts and white flowers. The palate is soft and creamy but not heavy, with a slight saltiness towards the end.

2 Clos Milan - Domaine Milan - 2019

12 months in French oak. A deep red robe, with a nose of red fruits and cocoa. The palate is balanced, combining power and finesse, with beautiful freshness.

1 Sottoriva - Malibran - 2020

Straw yellow, with some Prosecco typicity on the nose, but more complexity than usual. Shows notes of apples, pears and white flowers, as well as some bread crust and yeast. In the mouth it is dry, full, crisp, balanced and pleasant. It closes with a nice return on the fruit, before a tart finish.
