Tasting Notes: A Mourvèdre made in collaboration with the Domaine des Enfants Sauvages. The nose is full of black fruit aromas and spice, with a little earth and funk underneath. On the palate it is light, juicy and easy-drinking.
Tasting Notes: Passe Muraille is a collaboration between Zulu Wines and Domaine de Mena. It's a slightly funky, juicy, yet elegant red wine from the south of France, made of 100% Carignan. Great now, potentially even greater a few years down the line!
Tasting Notes: "Juste Ciel", a wine that calls for summer, fresh grilled fish, marinated supions, sea urchins, carpaccio de Saint Jacques.... In short, "La Petite Baigneuse" delivers here a wine to be enjoyed by the poolside with a Mediterranean meal thanks to its delicacy, its freshness and its notes of candied fruits. A very nice white wine to share with a nice meal.
Tasting Notes: A southern Rhône white blend with notes of ripe fruits like melon, tangerine and passion fruit, with some herbaceous notes and a touch of nuts in the background. On the palate it's fresh, light-bodied with a little acidity and a slightly salty finish.
Tasting Notes: Light orange color with pink reflexes, slightly cloudy. Floral nose, with rose notes, then citrus fruits (tangerine) and lychee. Fluid mouth, with very small catchy tannins and a nice persistence in the mouth. A rosé full of delicacy!
Tasting Notes: This bright, fresh and juicy red (mainly Cinsault) is great value. It's practically bursting with strawberry and red cherry, with earthy undertones and a touch of fine tannin. Manual harvest, vatting in whole clusters for 48h, without reassembly or batonnage. Six months whole bunch in concrete tank, bottled with no SO2.
Tasting Notes: The vine is 100 years old and more. Sébastien let it quietly die, he doesn't pull it up. As a result, the yields are very low, but the juice is magnificent in its complexity. Beautiful concentration and freshness.
Tasting Notes: With the cuvée Futur, Raphaël Baissas de Chastenet signs for his second vintage an exceptional bottle. A frank and free wine, rather discreet at the opening but which will evolve magnificently well over the next 4 years. The most pressed will decant for half an hour to enjoy it on the youth!
Tasting Notes: Cristal is made of 100% Macabeu, but macerated with the marc of Raphaels Lledoner Pelut (a special red grape variety). The result is a deep pink/light red wine, unfiltered or fined no sulfites. Fresh, mineral, full of energy and blueberries in your glass!
Tasting Notes: A wine that lifts Syrah and Mourvédre from something recognizably rustic into a lightness of rose and violet florality, the moment before fruit. There is something underripe in this blend, but its underripeness is not commanded by a feeling of “greenness” or “stalkiness.” This is fruit with promise and flower with a winking farewell. Prickly textured, a kind of red you’ll have a hard time not swooshing.
