Antoine Sanzay is no stranger among winemakers in Saumur-Champigny. In 1999, he took over the family domaine, which had been exclusively supplying its grapes to the local cooperative. With the vintage of 2002, Antoine Sanzay began bottling wines under his own name. Over the following years, he honed and refined his style. The assistance of winemaker colleagues such as Richard Desouchs, Romaine Guiberteau, and Nady Foucault was instrumental and influential. Today, he is one of the most sought-after vignerons in the region.
