Tasting Notes:
This vintage benefits from aeration – open it a half hour before drinking or pour in a carafe. Then it shows aromas of tropical fruits, bruised apple, dried apricots and peach, as well as some heady floral (dried roses) and herbaceous notes. On the palate it is medium bodied with some rather smooth tannins, and an impressive acidity towards the back. Ends with a mouthwateringly mineral aftertaste.
